Kira smiled feeling a bit victorious hearing Rebecca admit there was something but deflected it towards something else. She frowned as she listened " Ill try to get a hold of my father and see whats going on. " remembering her sister having issues before getting a hold of her father. She hope it wasn't another doppelganger issue. " Hopefully its nothing and hes just in a meeting. "

Rebecca nodded as she set there, "yeah I am sure he is just in a long meeting." There was worry in her voice as she spoke.

She got up and walked in to the kitchen, "so what do you think of this whole idea about having a place in town and solving side jobs?"

Kira knew her sister was worried about her father. " you could always talk to Richard and ask for a portal home. To check to see if everyone alright. " she suggested. As she thought about it for an moment. " on one hand i can see the benefit from doing that. On the other hand am not sure if its wise. Am worried about a spy or someone trying gain information about us. But i trust Richard to know what hes doing. "

Rebecca nodded, "look, I don't want to distract the cabal from our mission with my own problems. As of late, we have already had enough distractions."

After a moment she thought about the new subject, "I am not a fan of the whole idea. I mean I don't mind going after bad guys and all. Its the whole idea of having second base of operations within the city, is what I think is a bad idea. It is only inviting more problems."

Kira wasnt a big fan of it either as she thought for an moment. " i agree with you but maybe we should give it a chance. When it starts to turn south we suggest maybe stopping it before it gets out of hand."

Rebecca nodded, "normally I would agree. But once it turns south" she said quoting her fingers in the air. "than innocent lives could be at risk. And this is a problem I have with this whole plan."

Kira listened to her sisters concerns as she thought for an moment " we could try bringing up our concerns to Richard. " knowing silence wasnt going make this go away. They would always come up with some excuse not to go.

Rebecca listened and let out a sigh, "I want to talk to Richard about it, but truthfully I don't know how to bring it up without sounding like I am planning to kill the idea." She leaned back in her seat and slumped as she felt defeated.
