RE: Act Two, Scene Three
Captain Campbell was already putting on a pair of gloves as he walked into the holosuite. He had greeted Phillips as he walked out of the room but the man didn't seem interested in talking. Wasn't the first time he had ignored Campbell after a nasty debate with Tate. Campbell didn't pay it much attention. He climbed into the ring, his heart rate already beginning to elevate at the thought of finally having the chance to spar again. He had been so exited to learn a Klingon was on board until he found out she was not a worrier. Even after he called into question her honor during thier game she still refused to fight him in here. Of course, if Campbell had his way they would spar in a much more interesting style than boxing. He didn't understand why a combat sport would limit the attacks that could be made on an opponent. "I don't know what you have against real fighting, Tate". The captain said his face void of humor. He knew the comment would annoy the admiral. He had made similar ones in the past before a match, knowing just how much the admiral loved boxing. "Perhaps we should just play bloody knuckles or patty cake since you don't like enjoy fighting styles that have been useful, ever". This time Campbell couldn't help it and he cracked a smile. Then he put his hands up to defend himself. This was going to hurt and for a second he smiled wider than he had in weeks and then it was gone. He started to move toward the admiral throwing the first jab at the man's face.
