"Captain, before you begin I would like to state that the admiral's conclusion that I supported his position was incorrect. I, in-fact, believe that it is the least logical assumption to assume that they did not escape, and operating under that assumption is what you would call wishful thinking. I would like your permission to work with engineering to purpose the deflector array with the subspace antennae to emit a pulse that will resonate with the ull composition of the Susquanilla. I doubt it would be expected, and will give away we know their position, but it would give us their location. As stated in the briefing she must have set down for repairs and from the damage, likely not far from here. We can do this while simultaneously following the directives given to us."
