Our story finds Sol standing on the balcony overlooking the massive skyscape of Coruscant. In the distance, the Jedi Temple stands against the setting sun. Lines of Air Speeders crisscross the sky as glows of orange dance off the clouds giving the entire area a lovely glow.

Sol’s dark blue Hunter Uniform stands out in the glow of the setting sun. His lightsaber hanging from his belt, and his Hunter’s Badge stands as testament to his achievement in becoming Jedi Hunter. Sol had only heard of the wonders of Coruscant, but seeing it was a whole other animal. The city world was simply amazing to behold.

Standing on the balcony of their suite on 500 Republica gave him a commanding view of the city. Still, his mind was focused on something else. He smiled as he heard Astra walking on to the balcony. He turned to greet her, "Lord Serreno is remaining at the Jedi Temple, tending to some meeting. He said he won't be returning till late tomorrow morning. He is giving us the night off."

Sol smiled, "So I was thinking," he said pulling the bottle of wine from its hiding place behind a nearby chair, "Dinner and drink."

Astra smiled, “ you know i think i prefer the lake on sereno to the city you know what lake im talking about right.” She said as she stepped onto the balkany. She looked over the city for a moment then looked to Sol. “That sounds like a nice evening to me. How’s it feel to be a Jedi hunter” She said, continuing to smile.

She looked out across the city and frowned. “Am i forgetting something” she said quietly to herself. She shook her head and refocused on Sol. “ Let's hope we can have a nice evening without interruptions. Your sure Lord Sereno is staying at the Temple tonight. Why did he bring us out here in the first place” Astra said, having distracted herself. She was letting her mind wonder. Something she did not do often she usually tried to keep her thoughts and emotions in check. But when she and Sol were alone she was free to be herself.

She stepped over to Sol and hugged him. “ I'm glad I'm here with you, so what do you think we should eat? You are always several steps ahead of me” she asked.

Sol smiled as he turned to see the massive city before them, "I don't" he said softly with a smile. He motioned for her to join near the railing. "I think each has its own beauty."

"As for being a Hunter," he said toying with his badge. "I like it," there was a hint of pride in his voice.

He listened to her fear of interruptions, "I am pretty sure he won't return tonight. He seemed pretty frustrated, though I sense dishonesty from him. If I didn't know better, I would actually suspect that he enjoys these high level meetings with the Council."

He pulled her towards and slid in behind her as his large arms pinned her between the between him and the railing. "You are here because that is your place, beginning his Padawan." He kissed the back of her neck. "I am here by the Orders of Lord Serreno to protect a member of the Dooku family." He pulled in closer to her and kissed her neck again. "A task that I shall not fail at," he said playfully.

"I hear the chef here makes a Ewok Steak that is simply to die for," he said softly in her ear."

" Sol you know I can defend myself right, and please don't say that. The lady Dooku stuff is a little too fancy for me" she said. As she looked out over the city.

" I am glad I have you to take care of me. I probably would have continued studying and forgotten to eat if you were not her." She said putting her hand over his.

She leaned back into him and relaxed. Closing her eyes taking a deep breath. " Ewok... But I thought they intelligent like are level intelligent so would that be wrong" Astra said frowning.

Sol pulled back and spun her around to face him, "after what happened to Roza, no one still understands why it happened. And that slimo is still out there." There was anger in his voice. "So when you leave the Academy, by order of Lord Serreno, you will be under guard at all times," his lips curled in to a smile. "A task I shall take very seriously."

He shrugs, "there large walking teddy bears that I hear taste so good when prepared correctly." He blinked as he watched her eyes, "fun fact, did you know that there over a thousand chefs across the Galaxy that has some measure of specialty on cooking or serving Ewok?"

Astra looked as if she might cry for a moment. She still felt responsible for Roza's death. " I know Sol you don't need to remind me. I can't get that vision or finding her out of my head. I wish there was a way to forget those memories. So it would be easier to remember her as she was before she..." She trailed off. She took a deep breath and forced the feelings and memories away. " I miss her" she added finally.

" No, I did not know that," she said after a few moments. She smiled at him. " you know I know little about the Galaxy beyond the Jedi and Sereno. I'm not even sure where my actual home planet is." She said with a smile.

" So do the Jedi serve the Senate? And are Mandalorians as violent as the stories make them seam?" Astra asked.

He pulled her in to his arms, "I know," he said softly. "I am sorry, but that event has fueled so many changes in bother of our lives."

He held her tightly, "I miss her too."
He paused a moment as he let the moment passed.

He shook his head, "the Jedi Serve no one. We are loyal to the Light and only the light." He smiles softly, "as for the Mandalorians, they are a shadow of thir former selves. Now they are slim sucking assassins and bounty hunters. They are not the noble warrior they had once been."

Astra huge Sol resisting the urge to cry. " It just does not make any sense. Why target a student and one that doesn't have much force ability to begin with" Astra said shaking her head. It was a history she could not drop. " I want that bounty hunter Dead" she and coldly.

"Assassins and bounty hunters are illegal right, also can you tell me anything, about what Lord Sereno expects from his padawans because I'm afraid I still have not quite figured it out. He's hard to read and I feel like I'm failing half the time. Is he so hard on you?" She asked.

He laughed, "hard," he motioned to his badge. "I wouldn't have ever earned this if not for him being hard."

He pulled back and took her by the hand. "Lord Serrano is a man of many secrets and will expect you to keep them."

"I am sure you heard the rumors of his falling out with Dooku leaders. I mean, yes he is the head of the Family, but they were pissed that he forced your adoption."

" I mean the news is not a surprise but I was never told about it. I still don't understand why he did it. I have not been able to ask him. I have not figured out how to approach the subject without offending him ." Astra said with a frown.

" Everything thing about my getting this far has been strange you know. I just want to know how I got so lucky. Orphans don't usually get into Jedi Academy, and they especially don't get to be padwone." She said shaking her head.

" I also don't want to sound ungrateful" she added after a moment. Something in her stance giving away that she was bothered by this history.

She looked out over the city. Smile. " we should probably order are for dinner it will probably take a bit for it to be made," she said.

He nods, "I will place the order." He pulled up the tablet next to the chairs and started to place their dinner order.

"Okay, I see your point but its also not unheard of." He set back and spoke calmly. "Take your class. Serrano Academy took in over a hundred Students. A third of them orphans from three dozen worlds."

"So that's not unheard of. And well okay, you became a Padawan, that is uncommon, and to a Master like Lord Serrano, well thats more rare." He nodded, "then to be adopted in to the Family, yeah that is pretty special."

He shrugged, "I really don't know why. And while I am sure you can ask Lord Serrano, I doubt the man will give you a straight answer. I mean, I told you, he is a man of many secrets."

He frowned, "sometimes I think he loves it. The Council would select him for some ultra secret mission or negotiation, and yeah on the surface you can see he hate themselves. But then if you know how to look or what to look for, you can see this glint in his eyes. I think deep down, the man really loves playing spy."

He leaned forward and poured two large glasses of wine. "I sometimes wonder if this is the reason why he has such issues with the ruling elders of the Dooku Family."

Astra Giggled " that man never gives a straight answer to anything. I probably wouldn't have put much thought behind it if it were not for Master Mease's reaction," she said.

" he is a spy. That's great" she said with a giggle. " I still don't understand the adoption into a family. Why do they do and can they kick adopted members out" Astra asked?

Sol smiled and shook his head, "well normally they can. But not you. Lord Serrano made sure you were protected." And before she could speak he waved his hands before her. "And no, I don't know why."

He leaned and smiled, "Astra I don't care why. You are noble now. There is nothing that could stand in your way."

He got up and moved next to her. Resting a hand on her knee, "you can achieve anything you set your heart to." With that he kissed her softly.

" We have no more boundaries at all," she asked with a smile. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back.

" you know I'm glad you saved me that day, and for all the trouble we have gotten into together," she said.
