Bay blushed as Ni hugged him and uncomfortably patted her back. He hadn't thought about it before he had said it out loud, but he realized he did consider the others friends. He thought that was strange considering that they had faced an assassination plot together. Or maybe that was the reason why?

Bay listened as Ni exclaimed excitedly at the mining droid.

"That's the idea Ni. Eventually I want to have a few of these guys here in the cargo hold and whenever we reach a planet where we'll be staying for a few days, let them out to play." Bay chuckled, "The mining droid's programming is actually pretty smart. People who've worked with them say that the biggest trouble they have with them is that they like to work too much! That could be a problem if they ignore their maintenance, but he shouldn't get into too much trouble in just a week."
