Recap of a Day on the Town (Open In Between)

Kira listened to Simon as he spoke of Mr. Go Away. She reflected on their encounter with the very large spirit as they were exploring the house. She remembered how the encounter was tainted by the ongoing bitter rivalry between Simon and Rebecca. With that thought, she was glad to see how that rivalry had finally died off and the two were starting to get along. Kira wondered if the peace could last so that the Cabal could do what they needed to do.

Kira listened to Rebecca talk of loyalty and Orders. What Rebecca said was true about the Silver Ladder. Like Rebecca, she too was raised with a die hard conviction to the Lone Star Silver Ladder. Rebecca's father and her own father had served in the same Cabal for years before banding together to form the Lone Star Silver Ladder. Not trusting the Ladder was something that Kira never really even considered before. After all, she was Lone Star Silver Ladder, heart and soul. It made Kira feel good to know that she belonged to an order that both respected and placed faith in her. Their meeting earlier today and the new items only proved this fact to Kira.

With a nod Kira spoke softly, "I remember him." She placed her fork on the side of her small plate. All that remained of her pie were scattered crumbs across her plate. She eyes the rest of the pie but knew better. "He wasn't very friendly at all," Kira commented as her eyes shifted back to Simon. "I never heard of this Elemental Court of Spirits before" Kira said slightly confused. "What is the connection between Mr. Go Away and this Court you speak of?"
