Cox sits on the metal table as a medical droid checks him over. He wipes the tears out of his eyes and tries to shake off what just happened. Why did Ni throw herself at him? Why did she call him a liar when he was trying to take the heat for her? Why did she pull away when he tried to pursue what she initiated in the first place? Why did he overreact so much to her rejection?
Something was clearly not right with Cox. Perhaps the head injury was more than just a bump. Or maybe the events of the past few days had finally made him snap. Whatever was going on, Cox started to feel like a liability to the crew and that worried him.
As he sat on the table, his mind started to wander to the good times when he first met his now deceased lover, Celestine Falcon. She was a beautiful person in every sense of the word. She was 1.5m tall with shoulder length red hair that was smooth as silk. Her green eyes always seemed to be smiling. Her voice could relax Cox in an instant and her singing was soothing. Celestine was always helping other people, so her choice to become a Jedi Healer was a surprise to no one.
She wanted to be a good Jedi, so she was adamant about being friends only. Unfortunately, Cox had fallen for her very quickly and that was troubling to Celestine. She enjoyed being around Cox, so as long as he respected her friends only rule, she was more than happy to accompany him on various diversions. They hung out together every now and again, but slowly that increased until they were together more often than not. It was at that point that Celestine realized how strong her feelings for Cox had become.
Cox's mind returned to the present. The medical droid had completed its checkup long ago and he was given the all clear. Cox was unsure about how much time had passed and whether he should do anything about his current state of mind. At this point, Cox was thinking that any distraction would do. Maybe he had been thinking about things too much and forgetting to enjoy the moment. At this point he could use some form of distraction or escape.
